I’m Cari Mayhew, a professional content writer with several years experience behind me.

The bulk of my experience in writing articles for the internet comes through affiliate marketing articles, such as ‘Best Ofs’, product/service reviews and product/service comparison articles.

However, I have also written many ‘How to’ articles, listacles, informational pieces, and fluff pieces with swag.

My portfolio consists primarily of the topics I most enjoy writing about, such as books, SaaS (software as a service), and food and nutrition. But I can honestly write about anything.

I have written a great many articles on topics where the details HAVE to be right, such as legal, financial and safety matters, and I like to be confident in what I’m saying to any readers. But at the same time, I also know the value of disclaimers and of pointing readers in the best possible direction when applicable.

I can make any topic easy to understand, whether it’s financial planning, cybersecurity, decoding legal-ese, or (my favorite) neurotransmitters. (Please excuse the US spelling if you’re more accustomed to UK spelling.)

I can achieve an average word count of approximately 4,700 words a day, which is made possible by researching as I write.

I write introductions that lure readers in, empathizing with them and compelling them to read more. My articles are in-depth, value-packed, and perfect for the net.

And even when writing as much as 8,000 words on a topic, readers don’t get bored. I can even make kitchen and garden appliances something worth reading about.

I proofread every article I write with a keen eye before submitting them, checking both spelling and grammar, as well as tone of voice using tools such as Grammarly. I also run checks for unintended plagiarism using the Grammarly Plagiarism Checker.

I have an excellent understanding of the industry of website investing as a whole. This includes knowing the value of internal linking to other articles on the same website, and linking to and from authority websites, as well as how best to carry out the linking.

I consider myself to be SEO savvy. All the content I’ve produced not only reads well, and is written with the reader firmly in mind, but it’s always written with a view to ranking well in the SERPs. I am SEMrush Keyword Research Certified, and experienced in Surfer SEO content writing.
